Required Qualifications

An earned doctoral degree (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) in Finance from an AACSB accredited school. ABD with completion by time of appointment will be considered. For the Associate/Full level, the candidate must demonstrate a record of high quality scholarly publications and an active research stream.

Texas A&M International University, located in Laredo, Texas offers BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. programs in its business school with special emphasis on topics in international business. The base salary is consistent with comparable AACSB-accredited public research universities. There are also opportunities for competitive summer research grants and summer teaching assignments. The A.R. Sanchez School of Business is an AACSB accredited institution and is the editorial home of The International Trade Journal and The International Journal of e-Collaboration. The School of Business maintains ample research databases including WRDS, Bloomberg, CRSP, and Datastream. More information about the A.R. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate and maintain a commitment to teaching, producing scholarly research, and participating in service activities appropriate for the candidate’s given rank. Applicants are expected to be versatile, with an ability and willingness to teach a variety of finance courses. Individuals applying for this position may have research and teaching interests in any area of finance. Applicants must be willing to teach evening courses if assigned.
