General Purpose/Scope of Position

Provide event support to the designated sport as directed by the Associate Director of Athletics.

Required Qualifications

- Experience with game management at sporting events; playing/coaching assigned sport; and/or knowledge of assigned sport.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the general public. Ability to work under stress and with pressing timelines. Ability to multi-task. Must possess strong customer service skills. Must possess commitment and capabilities to abide by NCAA By-Laws and Heartland Conference regulations.

- Position is a temporary appointment, assigned per game/event and on an as-needed basis.
- The above job duties may not be performed in every task worker position and may not include all related duties that might be performed.
- Position requires working days, evenings, and/or weekends of home games/events.
- Position requires strict punctuality to arrive to work promptly at the scheduled time.

Summary of Job Duties

Essential Duty

Provide event support to the designated sport as directed by the Associate Director of Athletics. Duties include, but are not limited to, game management (public address, stats, scoreboard, shot clock, etc.), broadcast and video streaming, court/field maintenance (ball collectors, sweepers, etc.), concessions, and promotions.
